Attaching documents to bug reports

What happens to the documents when I submit a bug report and attach a document?
Does support receive a frozen-in-time version of the document at the moment the report was submitted, and can I then carry on working on the document without subverting the version I wanted support to see?
Or should I take a copy of the document just for bug report?

Thank you for asking. It would be ideal If you could create a version of the state in which the issue is seen. We usually use the timestamp of the report to identify the state of the model we need to look at.5

If you're concerned your could always create a version and submit that with a note to look at version x
