Why wont onshape accept my dwg/dxf

every time i make a dxf/dwg in adobe illustrator it keeps telling me that "Some entities could not be converted properly."  i have no idea what im doing wrong and have tryed multiable diffrent settings. is they any workaround to getting my dxf to onshape.

    Today we don't support import of closed splines. We have this on the plan to support in the future.

    I can't wait for this support so we can import all dxf/dwg files from illustrator! :)

    I am getting the message, but these comments are a year and a half old. Is there any progress on this issue?

    Try exporting from Illustrator with 'adjust paths for appearance' ticked.
