Mating parts adding a stop

Hi, I'm new to CAD and new to Onshape. I've got two cylinders, one slides over the other. I've applied a cylindrical mate. What I want is to affect the assembly so that the one cylinder will only slide to a stop point when I grab it with the mouse, instead of sliding too far, and past the step where the diameter gets larger and it should obviously stop.

But if you wan't to try workaround some limits to your assembly:
- use section views to see collisions.
- add mate connector to each end and use suppress to allow movement
- add mate connector with offset and use comment to 'save' offset values on min/max, suppress to allow movement.
