Opening up Solidworks Assembly's

peter_hoggardpeter_hoggard Member Posts: 2 PRO
We have been trying to open up a Solidworks Assembly of a file that we want to remate in Onshape. However, when we open the assembly the parts do not come up at the bottom of the document. We need to get every part in seperate part studios so we can save them as Onshape files. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, don't hesitate to reply to us.

Did you use pack and go from solidworks?

Have you tried saving the assembly as a neutral file format like .stp and upload it.

Currently all parts come in a single part studio after import. Are you not getting a part studio with all parts?

We have plans to support workflows where each part go to in its own partstudio after import.
