Dimension Line Snaps per ASME and ISO standards

brian_bradybrian_brady Member, Developers Posts: 505 EDU
Onshape drawings continue to improve, but it is still difficult to make clean, standards compliant drawings. One area that is lacking is spacing of dimension lines to object lines and the spacing between dimension lines. It would be nice to have reference lines that can be toggled on/off so that dimension lines can be snapped to them.

On a related note, why are Onshape arrowheads not the correct size? They are too large. AutoCAD circa 1997 does a better job of making standards compliant drawings than does Onshape from 2017. That does not look like progress. Please complete the task of making drawings great. Or dare I say "Make Drawings Great Again."

@brian_brady I have moved this over to here for feedback.  We have a lot of things we are working on and this is a bit more broad than a simple voted on improvement.  Thank you for the feedback.
