Hi,
I'm currently a rookie i all aspects of 3D modelling, but I'm getting there and learning as I go.
When it comes to this case, I cannot seem to find any proper solution for...
I've imported all different LA31_v0-file formats from this homepage: https://www.linak.com/products/linear-actuators/la31-careline/
This is a linear actuator that I want to assemble like in this video: https://www.onshape.com/videos/using-supplier-models
Is it just me, or is it impossible to get any solid parts from any of the imported files? I can only see three surfaces and nothing to build on.
I'd really appreciate if someone could help me. And please keep in mind that I'm a rookie....
Thanks!!

Imported and slit the end in a part studio
Transformed the end to my full travel
Extended the shaft back and added mate connectors
Made an assembly with slider mates and limits. Also added a Mate connectors between the clevis for easy mating to a central plate.

This data is HORRIBLE! (and yes - i tried all the formats)
1) Missing Faces
2) Degenerate faces
3) Mismatched tolerances
The most effort-effective action is to contact the vendor and ask them for valid solid bodies (STEP since i suspect they are using Pro/E)
I turned it into solids here if that is helpful. I will also add to my public motion control doc
