SHEETMETAL PART WON'T FLATTEN

I'm using the sheetmetal function for the first time.  Trying to flatten a converted sheetmetal part.  There are 4 bends selected.  But it won't allow flattening as drawn.  Cant see why not.  Any suggestions?

I had originally thought to extrude a drawn profile, but in sheetmetal, I don't see any way to cut out the middle area. 

Also, in sheetmetal part from converted form, I don't see any option to select bend radius. Here's a link to my simple part. Thanks.

Looks like the center cut out may be the problem for some reason. I have used a different workflow and been able to get it to work with the thicken function instead of convert.

That is a known issue, we are working to address it. Terry's work-around was exactly what I was going to propose.

Send it to the Hydraulic Press Channel.  200 bars should do it!

Hi Terry, I studied, then copied your method.  My only deviation is that I switched planes and thickened to .125" to work with my model.  Still I get a "Will Not Flatten" message.  Can you find my error?  I can't figure it out.  Thanks, -Michael

In this case you are actually hitting a bug which will be fixed in our next release.
In this case I was able to "fix" approach in this part studio   to work around that bug.
