Hello forum,
howto draw a fence with design parameters stored in variables -> variable fence?
I tried to work linear pattern, but the pattern tool does not accept a variable as multiplier definition?!
Any ideas for a work around?
regards
Wolfgang

Instead of patterning your sketch, maybe you could build out the part you want to pattern into 3D and then use part pattern. Sketch pattern won't take a variable as a multiplier but 3D patterns will happily do this.
thanks for your help!

Maybe try @konstantin_shiriazdanov 's parameter pattern ( https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d66ea5fec7a939e866ecbd6f ) or my slightly different version ( https://cad.onshape.com/documents/7cdcfcfdefc81485592c83b1 ).
