Is there a divide/split sketch command?

Does OS have a "divide-split" command.

I'm getting into some lofting and I need to split up a few curves and while I know I can use split and sort of eyeball equal segments, I figured there'd be a option to split a curve into a, user inputted, equal number of segments.

I there such a thing in OS?

Yes, it's under the trim command.
But is there an option to divide what I'm splitting into equal segments?

Say I want a curve to have 5 equal segments, how would I do that?

The command in ACAD looks like this. (Tough in ACAD is doesn't split the spline, it just puts node points where the equal segments end/start.)

I'd very much appreciate a possibility to add points to a line by telling how many points (equal distance) or the distance (after that, the truncate tool would also work fine).

For me, simply placing points by these means would suffice, as mostly its about placing something to these lines. And really splitting a line should be a byproduct and not rocket science...
