Spur gear and rack
Is there any way to design a rack for spur gear generated with this[1] featurescript?

You can definitely create a custom rack for these gears after using this feature! The 'use' command in our sketcher is very powerful, so once you have the gears in your part studio, you can reference the geometry of the gears to create new parts around them.
This video could be pretty useful: (Info on the 'use' command starts around 2:30)

Maybe I can't get the point, but using projection I can't create a straight rack, but only a round one. Am I missing something?
TIA,
Andrea
I misunderstood your question, very sorry. I thought you meant some kind of mounting rack, but you were asking about a Rack and Pinion type construction. Maybe @NeilCooke can shed some light on the best way to make a matching rack for your spur gear.
