Hollow pyramid: How to construct with defined wall thickness

wolfgang_maierwolfgang_maier Member Posts: 39 ✭✭✭
Hello,

i constructed a 4 sided pyramid with a rectangle and a loft.
I cannot imagine howto create a hollow object with 5 walls out of the pyramide with defined wall thickness.
Any idea?

I think you are looking for the shell feature:

    I did it this way:
Create pyramid > Shell >  (x) Hollow  > Select Part
    See picture 1 & 2.

I can find neither pyramid nor shell. Is this still possible with today's version (Oct 19th, 2019 | 1.104.24384.815574cc05b7)?

There is no pyramid feature, you have to sketch a rectangle and a point and use Loft. Shell is there if you look for it (or use the command search).
