Virtual Reality for Onshape

jonathan_knirschjonathan_knirsch Member Posts: 2 EDU
Since Google started to integrate virtual reality into Google Chrome ( https://vr.chromeexperiments.com ) and HTC announced the HTC Vive Pro, targeting companys and businesses, I'd consider virtual reality to be a fairly interesting feature to have in the future of Onshape.
Especially viewing the models makes much sense in VR since they could be displayed in true scale and full 3D. While it is still to find out, how useful VR is for actually designing something, I'd imagine it to be a huge advantage in presenting and explaining new ideas to customers or coworkers.

I would have those interested in this topic to look at one of our partner apps working in this space: https://onu1.com/

I think this is a very useful idea for implementation. Virtual reality is actively being integrated today into various business segments: consumer, commercial markets, entertainment and travel market
