Beam tool making strange intersections

Hello, I am using the beam tool to make a structure for a project I am working on there are some very complex intersections such as the one above. The beam tool seems to only be designed to make intersections between two pipes because that is how it is dealing with this multi-pipe intersect. The pipes are in pairs. Is there any way to fix this or a work around so that all the pipes can be joined?

    That is correct the beam tool can only trim two beams at a time (see instructions). You will have to create multiple beam features to do what you want and use the "trim part" option in the beam feature.
