Is it possible to make a configuration within a configuration

Maybe I've missed this one in the tutorials.
I want to make a configuration with say 2 options
Option 1 needs 2 subconfigurations A and B
Option 2 needs 2 subconfigurations C and D
If option 1 is chosen I want only Configuration A and B visible and vice versa.
Is something like this possible at the moment?
Thanks

This would look something like two dropdown configuration lists, one that selects either Option 1/2 and the other selects Option A/B (no C/D). But depending on whether you've selected Option 1 or 2, A and B would be different. Basically, your Option 1/2 selection decides which array of values, while the A/B selection is choosing an array index of 0 or 1 to be used with that array. There is an example of this applied to pipe flanges towards the end of @NeilCooke's Advanced Configurations webinar. I also have a simplified example here. Using array variables will only work if you have features that can be controlled numerically by setting dimensional values based on array values. If what you want is more along the lines of a boolean yes/no for four different features (A/B/C/D), then this method won't be helpful.6
