Should Part Studios have a Reference number?

    I have no experience of real-life projects in Onshape but from the general positions - don't think PS should have numbers. It is some internal layer of your CAD system like folders in file based CAD's.

    In some cases a single studio could have something that would need a code but mainly a part studio is incomplete, just bunch of unique parts that will make a product in assembly.

    Ok, thanks for your comments,
    We agree that Part Studios are an extremely useful tool for creating partS, and that the parts are the ones that should have the reference numbers.
