Part Studio - howto fix a mate connector to the part - transform by mate connector

Hello,
in a part studio i have to parts. Each part has a mate connector.
When i transform by the mate connectors, the parts are 'connected' the right way, but the mate connectors not.
The mate connector of the part being moved, stays at the old place.
Obviousely the mate connector is not part of the part beeing moved or his position is not fixed?
Can someone explain the reason for this?
Of course i can select the part and the mate connector together before the transform command and it works correctly.
