Circular rib

Imagine a plastic lid to a jar.  Instead of threads, I would like a circular "rib" around the inside perimeter of the lid so it "snaps" on the jar.
I offset a circle from the inside cylinder of the lid and tried to use that as a rib with "extend to part", but OnShape wouldnt have it.  Then I divided the circle into three 45 degree arcs.  I could use one of the arcs to create a rib, but the other 2 arcs extruded in the same direction as the first arc, which isnt what I wanted either.
Am I asking too much of the rib tool?  I suppose I could create 2 more sketches for each of the remaining two 45 degree arcs, but is there an easier way to get a fully circular "rib" around the inside of a cylinder?

Rib will not create that kind of geometry, it is only for the classic strengthening rib you find inside plastic parts. You can either use extrude or revolve to get the geometry you need depending on how you sketched it.
