Broken Sketch?

I have a sketch that I created that is a pattern it was enough to slow onshape while creating it but that doesn't take much. Now that I have finished it I can not select any of the enclosed areas to extrude (They are fully enclosed loops even thought they cant be selected as them) I can even draw a square using the rectangle tool and it is not selectable as an enclosed loop either but I can extrude the lines as surfaces?

I copied the sketch and tried importing it into another doc and it says the clipboard is empty. Trying the same thing with another sketch from the same doc works as you would expect it should.

I am wondering if I am gooing to have to draw the sketch all over again since even though i can see it it doesn't seem to exist in any usable way.
