@bryan_lagrange nice rendering! Could you add a read heart between "I" and Onshape?
that is a loud hoodie…haha
@MDesign brings up a good point, in case the winner want's something slightly less loud, but still loud =P. I've made a dark mode option for the hoodie prize:

Man this steam is difficult. I can't seem to make a custom texture either, no images show up when i import bitmap with either function. There really needs to be a "Custom texture" texture that quickly lets us choose different settings and assign a simple image, normal, bump, etc…
Here is a test render just playing around:

Hey! First post on the Onshape forums, I'm pretty active on the subreddit and often find answers here but somehow don't find myself here otherwise.
Anyway, I'm not sure how much smoke and mirrors everybody else has to incorporate to get some of the incredible past results I've seen, but here is my own coffee mug, redone in Onshape.
Here is the actual mug from the store I bought it from. Really struggled to get the earthiness of the mug right, but pretty happy with the overall result!
That looks amazing @Hellessey, nice work! And welcome to the render battles 😎

I tried to add creamer to the coffee and something went wrong, can someone help?
Dang that's a lot of creamer! 🤣
Looks like your mug is made entirely out of coffee too, could be hard to handle irl.
But seriously, if you actually needed help, try not modeling the creamer, but just changing the color of the "coffee" to be lighter. I usually don't give away trade secrets until the end of the battle, but here is a hint:

I'm just goofing, that's the dirty broth dense applied there but with way more water absorption factor because I like my coffee strong. Even if it is dirty broth. The real hangup is attempting to figure out volumetric modifiers to make the steam work but I can't seem to find a way to make that happen without involving reflectivity in some way.
@MichaelPascoe Nice challenge!
I tried my best to render coffee in a glass mug.
For anyone wondering how to improve the rendering of a fluid in a glass, you have to make the fluid bigger so it overlaps a bit with the mug. Adding a radius on the edge of the fluid helps to make it look more realistic.
That's dope @sebastian_glanzner! Thanks for the tip, wouldn't have thought of that.
