Hi all. Hope you're having as much fun as I am here.

Got a starter question so sorry if this has been covered a billiion times.

Am trying to draw a shape whose name I don't know but it has uneven sides. When I do dimensions for a rectangle, if i do dimensions on one side, its automatically mirrored to the opposite side… HOW do I trun off that mirroring?

I told you it was a basic noob question… but if anyone has the copassion to help a beginner out that;d be sweet.

THansk all

Either check the "show constraints" checkbox and delete the parallel and perpendicular constraints or don't use the rectangle tool. Use the line tool to draw an irregular polygon.

quadrilateral? check off the show constraints and remove the constraints that are causing the issue. also check out learn.onshape.com to learn more about constraints and more
