Indicating that some parts in a part studio don't change with configurations so BOM is correct?

Hi Everyone,
Let's say I have a part studio that has two parts in it, a disc, and an enclosure for the disc. The disc is always the same size, but the enclosure size is parameterized. When I generate a bunch of this part studio in an assembly with different configurations, the BOM counts each disc separately for each configuration of the part studio even though they're all the same. I get a BOM like this:
- Disc (1)
- Enclosure (1)
- Disc (1)
- Enclosure (1)
- Disc (1)
- Enclosure (1)
When what I want is:
- Disc (3)
- Enclosure (1)
- Enclosure (1)
- Enclosure (1)
I now know that if I make the disc in a separate part studio that isn't parameterized, that will fix things, but I'm not sure if there's a relatively easy way of breaking that out at this point, since the disc and the enclosure share a lot of sketch constraints.
I see that I can mark some parameters as not indicating the part studio is different in a BOM, but I want something similar for a part within a part studio.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Thanks Neil! I'll try #2 while I work on moving the disc out to its own part studio (option 1 you suggested).
