Help with sheet metal flanges.

Darren_WrynneDarren_Wrynne Member Posts: 2

Hello, I am new to Onshape and I have used Autodesk Inventor previously, on their software there is an option when bending flanges to have the bend position set to tangent. I was wondering if there is a similar option in Onshape or if not, is any tips when creating flanges to prevent the part hosting the flange to shorten.

Example:

When I input a bend angle of 135Deg the original part loses material, I want the bottom of the bend to be located at the edge of the host surface like this:

If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
