Issues with Loft or Sweep when creating an aircraft wing using airfoil profiles and guide curves.

Hello, I’m new to modeling. I was trying to create a wing using the Profile Generator tool. I created guide lines and generated the profiles; I have all the profiles, but when I try to use the Loft or Sweep tools, they simply fail to recognize the paths. I tried generating guide lines on 3-point planes, but they haven’t helped much, as they create weird shapes from just one face.

here is a wing example i knocked up quickly…first do a planform layout of the wing and then use profile generator to generate airfoil profiles. make sure that the leading and trailing edge guide lines are coincident with each airfoil profile leading and trailing edge points
