Removing an area surrounded by points in an imported dxf

Hi guys i'm very new to OnShape. I had a jpeg, exported to dxf, imported in OnShape. Now I'd like to edit the sketch…for example creating the new pink line of the image removing the green part. Is it possible? I can select the points, but it seems i cant move them. The sketcth is derived because importing the dxf directly into the main sketch, it says that was not fully defined. Thank to who will help!

Well, yes: Derived is derived. You can't change a derived sketch, but you can build a second sketch over it, by means of the "use" tool, and then edit that one at will. In the sample I did that in an offset plane, just to demonstrate.

You could, of course, also extrude the derived sketch and then cut off the parts from the solid. ;0)
