how to mate this?

hello, i am doing a project for my robotics club of making a turret kind of thing. my specific role at the moment is to create ideas for the base of the turret, while i have already made a couple i am struggling on this one design with an arm kind of mechanism to transmit the rotatinal force from the motor to the pivot base. i think this would work in my head but onshape will not let me mate all of the parts together. i can mate most of them, just not the final peice. i have all joints as revolute mates, i can not use one arm because the distance between the holes changes.
if anyone can give advice or knows if this wont work pls let me know. thank you!

Make the final mate cylindrical will be allowed. Then extend the pin to needed length.
