How to merge different tab togheter?

tue_lactue_lac Member Posts: 2

I try to make a chessboard case that has a different slot for each piece. I figure that if I just have all of the pieces together and I can make a mold of them as a slot, but I can't figure out how to import multiple tabs into one tab. It keeps appearing in a new tab, and idk what I can do. If not, then I guess I can make a rectangular slot for each of them, just the idea of the mold is cooler. Thank you :>

You've got a couple of options. You could use Derive to bring the chess pieces into the case Part Studio then Boolean Subtract. Or, put all of the parts together in an assembly and edit the case in-context for your Boolean Subtract.
