Can I save a display state including the section view and the view orientation?

I need to set up display states that include section views and a specific orientation, to use in a publication

Is it possible to save all the view cube option settings in a display state?

You could make a section, then create a 'named view' of it from the view menu found below the cube. AFAIK named views get saved with the display state.

    excellent, thanks.

Is there a way to combine a named view with a display state? So I can show the part of the assembly I want, with the cross section I need and at the correct orientation ?

Yes. Just create the named view in the view state you want to save.

    thanks.
I choose a display state and then create a named view in that state.
To show this combination at a later time, I still need a two step operation, 1/ display the desired state and 2/ show the desired view.
Is there a way to combine the two steps in a single operation that I can link Ito from inside a publication?
