My remove(extrude) isn't working as it is supposed to be.

Hi guys. I got a problem with my remove and I have never seen such thing before. What I did is first make a new plane, make a sketch on it, and extruded it. However, the part wasn't removed and it only left border line(?) of the part. I have no idea what this is. If anyone have an idea can you please help me?

Thank you for your feed back! I had no idea so I just selected merge with all and it is fixed now. Thank you for your time and consideration!
