PointsManipulator/TogglePointsManipulator Size?

Is there some reason that a points manipulator would be smaller when there's only one? Is this a bug or intended feature?

    Hmmm. If it seems weird to you too, then honestly it seems like a bug. Should I report it?

    Yes please. I did not know what caused this so thank you for working out it was the number of visible points.
