Centering DXF on face

Hey! My goal is to put an image on a face and remove-extrude it. For this, I have an SVG file that I have converted into DXF. The problem happens after importing the DXF, when I try to center it on the face. Adding a dimension between any part of the image and a point on my object causes the lines of the image to break apart, completely destroying the image. I'm able to remove-extrude the image just fine, but I have no way of centering it. Any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance! Video and image files are available

Place a point that you want as center of dxf. Select all and use the transform function. Move the triad to the new center and drag to origin,
