Problems with importing images into Parts Studio.

So a simple explaination is that when I go into the import images tab and then click in the photo I want to import in my files, it DOES import it, but it DOESN'T put it in the tab containing imported images, it just creates a tab at the bottom that has the image, but it has two buttons, one that says "Update", and one that says "Download", the first of which replaces one selected file of my own with the image, or the latter, which allows me to download the image, but it's converted to the .webp file type, and I cant ever actually use the image or put it in a Parts Studio.
I very much need help because it's been a problem I have occasionally had because it works sometimes, and doesn't work at other times so I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.

Works ok for me on the browser uploading a .png. I don't use Onshape Mobile. Maybe try it on a computer if you have access to one and then see if it's there on your phone?
Might depend on your image file type as well.
Onshape's supported file formats for importing are shown below. If it's a photo on your phone (like a screen shot) it may be a different format than these.
