The right way to mate

How can I make the seal part go with the piston until the stopper (due to pressure in the cylinder)?
Right now if I pull the piston it does not pull the seal with it.
What is the right mate to achieve this?

I'm not sure there is a good way to do what you are asking. I have done something similar to this using slider mates and setting up limits, but it always ends up falling short of a real-life action. Or read through this. https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/25867/new-custom-feature-animate.

I'd probably make a sub-asm of the two seals and the piston. (how are the seals attached to the piston? If some mechanical fastener, then a fixed mate between them should be fine).
Then put a cylindrical mate between the piston center (of that new sub-asm )and the cylinder center. You could add a mate connector in the part studio at that location to make that easier. To make it stop the right distance, inside the cylindrical mate will be a z limit. That's how far the piston can slide in each direction.
Here is an example. I went with a simpler group instead of a sub-asm as I wrote earlier.

@nick_papageorge_dayjob No mechanical attachment between the seals and the piston. They all free to move inside the cylinder (cylindrical mate). The reason they stick together as long as they can is due to the prussure coming from the cylinder sides.
