Using same origin to create many parts

Onshape suggest making all your parts in the part studio. When doing sweeps for example you need to use at least two planes. one for the cross section the other for the path. Instead of creating new planes using the origin make sense but it becomes a cluttered mess. I moved parts in the parts studio to make room only to find they moved in the assy. Do you suppress the first parts in the studio to create new parts? If you fix the parts in the assy are they fixed in the parts studio?

    You should include the parts that make up a subassembly together in a part studio together (and therefore they would not get in each other's way since they are modeled as an assembly). If the parts have no association then use different part studios. If you need to temporarily hide a part, click the eye icon next to the part name in the feature list. Hope this solves your issue. (Btw assemblies have no affect on part studios).
