Creating a new material

Is it possible to create a new material and assign a density to it? For example, a specific alloy, or a non-metal such as leather or paper?

At the moment only predefined materials are available. Custom material is highly requested feature and if you wan't to join the request put in ticket through feedback on cad ?-menu.

This is desperately needed, at the moment I have been scrolling the list to find a density close to what i require, forgetting material type.1

I too was looking to add a new material/density hopefully this feature is being added soon.0
