I am the developer of OS BOM GS and currently not. Due to this being an add on there are a number of challenges to ensure data can work for both pulling and pushing metadata. I will add it at some time in the future. Still some things in flux.

Thanks, I just wanted to check because I have spent quite a lot of time trying to get Openbom to do what I need and I don't want to go through all that again. Do you have any idea when Onshape will have a fully functioning integrated Bom, because untill that happens I am paying for software that I cannot really use. I am sure most people would be happy with only being able to pull data for now, I don't know much about it but if that would make things easier for you guys I would go with that for now.

Is there a plan to support sub-assemblies in this BOM?
For example, I have an assembly with a COTS gearbox subassembly in it. When I create a BOM of the assembly using the gearbox, I get a line item for every gear and carrier in the box. For ordering/inventory I just want line saying "COTS gearbox". Is there a way to do this?
