opExtrude fails when switching from BoundingType.BLIND to BoundingType.SYMMETRIC

When I switch my endBound from BoundingType.BLIND to BoundingType.SYMMETRIC, I get an exection error:
@opExtrude: Impossible extrude bounding type
Why?

I'm looking at the Documentation ( Yes I should have started there ) . I can't use SYMMETRIC. Don't why yet. I guess I specify a start and end bound0

extrude() is the function directly tied to the button in the toolbar, while opExtrude() is the interface into our geometry server.
Otherwise, yes, the solution is to use opExtrude() and specify both "endBound" and "startBound" as BLIND with matching "endDepth" and "startDepth".
