Why does Onshape take a lot longer to add in-context references to a sketch?
I find it a lot faster if I just use parts that were created directly in the part studio.

The reason no one is answering this is that 'creating an in-context feature' encompasses several steps.

It takes a second or so to add the first reference because internally it must create a "context" so that your references do not update until you ask them to. Referencing a Part in the same Part Studio does not do this.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI5 -
