hide Sketch Label (e.g. Sketch 1) and the whole rectangle

in General
while sketching, often the light blue label and rectangle indicating the sketch are somehow disturbing the view.
is there a possibility to hide them?

    It can’t be hidden, but if zoom right out before creating the sketch then you can’t see it when you zoom in. Bit of a hack, so please create an improvement request in the category on the right —-> I’ll vote for it.

    You can press P to show and then P to hide planes. If you do this at a further zoom angle it saves you having to exit/re-enter the sketch.

    Unfortunately, this seems to stop working. That is, it does disappear but as soon as I e.g. dimension a line, the sketch rectangle reappears. I cannot get it to stay removed for any significant time. It IS useful when looking at the sketch at an angle, but IMHO it should disappear when looking at the sketch plane in the normal direction. Does someone know any other way to hide it? Unfortunately, it is in a webgl canvas…I see no way to edit the elements in that locally 😞
