Animation in assembly

bryan_lagrangebryan_lagrange Member, User Group Leader Posts: 792 ✭✭✭✭✭
Is there a way to run 2 animations on 2 different mates at the same time?

I have an assembly that has both left and right and up and down motion and I would like to have both animations run at the same time.

Thank you in advance

    @bryan_lagrange - totally doable!
    Just as Jake said, you need to create a relationship between the two driving mates using a 'mate relation'.

    Then just animate one of them.
    If you post a like-example, five guys will jump on it! :)

    Maybe as a workaround you could set up a relation (Gear, Rack and Pinion, Screw, or Linear) between the two different systems?  You could suppress the relation while actually working, and unsuppress when you want to show a client or make a video.

    I have  two pivot points. The goal is to have the unit go left and right and at the same time move up and down.

    @Jake_Rosenfeld can you show an example of this?
