Sketch driven feature pattern in onshape

Hey, I'm looking for a way to repeat a feature in a non linear pattern. I would be able to make a sketch with points where i want the origin of my feature to repeat itself, I seem to remember that this is something that's doable in solidworks.

for example : see the screenshot here the fingers would have an irregular x repeat value

This isn't for repeating parts, really for features in the same part in a part studio.

Any help is appreciated !

@marco_caron170 There is not a feature today in Onshape that allows you to pattern features at sketch points. However, this is possible with a custom feature. Below is a link to a custom feature that allows you to pattern parts at points. It also has boolean options allowing you to merge or remove from other parts.

Its amazing how people only remember the custom features that they wrote!!!
(just kidding, they are all awesome

)

That said, mine is the best because its (a) parametric (all points in a sketch even if edited later) and (b) you can select seed parts from other part studios and other documents!

@cody_armstrong I need to make a non uniform point pattern along a curve(d surface). It is a rolled sheet metal part. I tried using your FS in the flat view, but that does not work. You are not able to select sketches or features in the flat view. I could do it in the rolled 3D view, but the feature needs to be kept tangent to the surface in the location of each point. With your FS all features get the same orientation as the parent feature. Do you have a idea of some workaround? Now I think my only option is to sketch all cut out features in the flat view and dimension the distance between them manually. And then check if the position looks good in the 3D view and adjust until it looks OK.
