Southern California User Group meetings recap

The first two Onshape User Group meetings are in the books.  We had a great time in San Diego and Los Angeles, and we'll be moving north this week to San Francisco and Oakland.

Thanks to Bill Campbell for his "Working with Imported Data" presentation in San Diego, it was very well received.  Bill even brought his son out to see a user group meeting first hand.

Several SWX users were in attendance, and I got to see an old friend - former SWUGN leader Phil Sluder.

San Diego Onshape users should expect the next meeting sometime in September.

The venue in Los Angeles was very cool - Cover builds high-quality "Tiny Houses" that are designed in Onshape.  Co-founder Alexis Rivas gave us an overview of the company.

Every good user group meeting should have a presentation by an everyday user.  Mike Everman showed off some tips and tricks, some great animations, and answered some questions from the audience.  A textbook meeting!

Thanks to everyone for their support.  Onshape User Groups are generating a lot of interest, and I'm looking forward to seeing more groups forming soon.

If you are in the Bay Area, join us this week - https://www.eventbrite.com/o/onshape-18351666686 - Jon Hirschtick will be our special guest.
