dimension menu: what is "configure dimension" ?

 today drew a sketch at a party studio. Making up the properties of a dimension I saw a new menu item ""Configure dimension"". Information in "Help page" is not found. What this feature how to use ?

    I assume that the menu item is associated with a "configuration panel". And maybe it appears when there are multiple versions of the part.

    Yes, it is for associating that dimension with the configurations panel.

    If you have NO configs defined, the option will not show up on the right click menu
    if you have ONE config defined, it will just say "Configure Dimension" which will attach that dimension to the configuration and add a column.
    if you have TWO or MORE configs defined, it will be a sub menu, and let you select which config to attach it too.
