Hi,

can onshape import 3dxml files?
I am looking for a possibility to convert 3dxml Files.

    No, sorry - 3DXML is a proprietary format from Dassault Systemes that nobody else uses.

    Wrong, I just received RFQ from VW with a 3DXML File, not true nobody uses. VW uses even to be a very small automaker!

    A 3DXML file is an XML file created in the proprietary Dassault Systemes 3DXML format. It contains meshes, textures, lighting effects, and other 3D object properties and is used to specify an XML-based 3D object.
    This is not a parametric part file, so ask for an industry standard 3D file.

    What I meant was nobody other than Dassault Systemes uses this as a format - or in other words - it is proprietary to them only and not an industry standard.
