I have a part that does not have material assigned to it. It is noted as a assy. How do I get it back into parts so I can assign the material?

1. Open BOM on the right side and double click the material to edit (or any other property) (you may need to add the material column):
2. Alternatively, you can right click the part and select "Switch to [part studio name]" to get back to the part modeling environment (Part Studio):
