inspection items after a release

hello,
I can not change the inspection items numbers after a release.
The numbers stay grey and con not be re-ordered. I can only delete them and start with a number higher than the highest previous item number. I want to start with nr 1 again.
Is there a solution for this without starting a new drawing?

Very much looking forward to this update.
@Wes_Best This was delivered back in July of 2023:
Very nice. Thanks a lot for replying.
@PeteYodis I'm, a little confused as this does not seem fixed. Your graphic and current behavior does not have the green check available for changing the number. In order to keep prints clean when we delete or add items, sometimes we want to reuse the lowest #. Also, when the inspection #s get too far out of sequence as you go around the print, we like to delete the inspection items and start with a cleaner flow around the print. I would expect the behavior to be this regardless of if the previous Rev used the # or not.
1. Remove all inspection item
2. In Manual or Automatic, restart at # 1 automatically.
We have figured out a manual work around in the inspection table but is it a pain when you have a lot of dimensions.
Thank you in advance
@Jeff_Hubbard we have an upcoming effort to automate a renumbering - and it needs to consider different company perspectives on what is allowed for renumbering.
