spline

I try to create the head of a fantasy panda. The result is not as smooth as I wanted it to be. So I'm asking you if you recognize mistakes or space for improvement. For that I'd like you to quickly guide you through my process: I started with this sketch. The head consists of two splines. I made sure the had the same angle…

I have this smooth structure I am modeling and it has 4 sides, the top is a 3D spline and there is a curved face at the front and a straight edge on the bottom, and I want the it to end in a radius at the end, is there any way to form these into a smooth surface? I have been able to make it into a surface but not a smooth…

I'm looking to constrain splines within a drawing. I can't work out how to constrain the direction/length of the spline handle... Any tips? Also, it appears that there are no spline handles for points except for the start and end points. Is that really true? How do I manipulate the length/angle of a curve within the…

Hi, I am new to onshape (and CAD in general) and I've been trying over and over again to get a simple 2 control point spline curve to become "fully defined" (indicated by outline going from blue to black). I watched a video and did what I saw there and added dimensions to both of the control points…defined their length and…

Given a Bézier which is degree n (and in this case n≥3), if I want to make the P₀ end point G² to another curve, I know that there's a simple equation. Let c= distance from P₀ to P₁, d= normal distance of P₂ from the P₀-P₁ vector, and 𝜅 is the curvature of the adjoining curve at the common endpoint. Then d=(n/(n-1))𝜅c². Is…

Hello I need some help with the spline.I wrote a feature which draw a spline from a csv fileInside I use this code } else if (linetype == "C") { var P1 = point_courant; var P2 = vector(aline[1], -aline[2]) * ZoomCoefficient + splineOffset; var P3 = vector(aline[3], -aline[4]) * ZoomCoefficient + splineOffset; var P4 =…

After adding some dozens of control points on a spline I can't add more. Is the number of control points limited?

Hello, As part of a school activity, we want to model cookie cutters for Christmas. However, I can't create a border when my drawings are made of spline. The Offset tool gives me an error message. So, to get around this problem, would it be possible to extrude the sides of my part as shown in the drawing and not just the…
