@S1mon Along with using a body for a logo: if you use the face of your logo part (select the face to extrude for an emboss / deboss for instance) you have the added benefit of the selection being robust to changes to the edges of the logo...and not failing when an edge disappears or appears later when you Version the logo.… -

I love the thin extrude! There are so many things that become simpler with it. I was running into something similar to this issue too though, but with faces. If I have two adjacent co-planar faces, I should be able to pick them both to extrude the whole region's border as one rib, or maybe to extrude each face as it's own… -

@derek_ward Extrude 3 fails to be mirrored because it has Up-to-face condition. Mirrored extrude can't use the same reference for up-to-face condition and you would not want it to do so. If you change Extrude 3 to use blind end condition as done here Mirror 2 succeeds. -

Cannot extrude remove due to "merge scope"
I finished revolving a simple wheel hub shape. On the revolve face I drew a circle and tried to remove extrude it. The extrude keeps failing telling me to select a merge scope. There is nothing for me to select to "merge scope". -
