Re: #TraditionalCADsucks
We've been lucky to have already changed 100% of new development over to Onshape - and only use 2018 SW for pulling up legacy files, or getting started with updates & transition to OS.

Re: How do my students get their certificate after completing sections of the learning pathways?
Hey @david_cornwell283, for a certification of completion on a self-paced course you must go through each lesson and page in the course.
First, make sure you are signed in. To make this as easy as possible. Have your students access the learning center by going through cad.onshape.com first, and then clicking on the learning center button.
You will see green checkmarks and bubbles when you have completed a page in the course outline. It takes about 3 seconds on the page for it to turn green. Some courses have a feedback section at the end- those courses require the survey to be completed as well to complete the course. Feedback is great for us to deliver more and better material to you however, you can skip questions if you like.
From here you can see your certificates and completed courses from the learning center dashboard here: https://learn.onshape.com/learn/dashboard
I would suggest, asking for screenshots of this page from students to help track or diagnose any issues.

Re: Any new SW users?
working from home for the first time and I love using OnShape. I am having to learn a lot but really enjoy it. I am just so happy to be out of SWKS hell! I am a boomer so if I can learn it anyone can. OnShape support has spoiled me as they are the best!
Meta Sculpt Surface Modeling Tool
I've developed a surface sculpting script called Meta Sculpt, which is based on the excellent Sculpt Face feature by @maximilian_schommer. Meta Sculpt allows users to sculpt a surface face by adjusting the underlying surface using point and arrow manipulators or editable/configurable field values. Multiple points are selected and deselected by clicking on them. Arrows can be used to move selected points. To keep the display simple, only arrows at the last selected point are shown, though all arrows can optionally be shown. Movement of points can snap to an optional distance quantum. Surface sculpting changes are presented as a set of "actions," where an action is the change made to a set of points. The set of points and the offsets in each dimension are editable, and support both equations and configurations. A short documentation PDF is included in a tab of the Meta Sculpt feature document.
The screenshot below shows the top face of a cylinder being sculpted using two actions. The first action raises two selected points [0,2] up an inch. The second action lowers point [1] by 1.5 inches.

Any new SW users?
Yesterday Jon H. said that there weren't any support tickets generated from people trying to use OS at home. I know a lot of people are having issues with remote SW.
I find it interesting that they'll suffer and struggle vs. trying something new. Human nature is interesting, why struggle?
If you're a new SW user please reach out and ask this forum how to get started. This is a really good place to ask questions.

Re: Is it possible to enable selection while importing part using featurescript code?
@MBagwan
Selections can only be made of geometry that exists before the feature is executed. The rationale here is that the feature is run with some set of inputs, which produce an output. One of its inputs cannot be something that is created during the feature, because then it would not actually resolve to anything until halfway through the feature.

Re: Is it possible to determine in which direction an angle is measured?
If they are always on the 3D XY plane, then it's simple - you can just use atan2 to measure the angle between each line and vector [1,0]. A minus value indicates obtuse. If they're in 3D space it would be a little more involved.
Re: Adding OnShape Certificates to LinkedIn Profiles
@jack_heslin there is nothing official today, other than just downloading the certificate from the Learning Center and uploading it to LinkedIn.
Re: I have a full (pro) account. Can I view my own document with the View-Only Toolbar?
Yes you can! Make the document viewable with a view-only link and then copy/paste that link into a private/incognito browser window.
Re: How to project a face onto a surface?
@neobobkrause If you choose the sketch instead of the face it seems to work, unless I am missing something in your request. I made a copy here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f52aa59f46d278b6f51909e6/w/f5c42223fa68b6e2cb731b35/e/3dd0ca5c7f793b8cd594cb56
