Is this a bug?

aaron_2aaron_2 Member Posts: 26 PRO
While I have been working in Onshape the last two days, It keeps Timing out, like I haven't done anything for a while. On one instance, I actually lost a little bit of work. I've been keeping a close eye on my internet wandering if that was the problem, but haven't seen any drops. It's been happening after doing Extrudes, Replace face, and Move face the most it seems but not limited to those.

I haven't faced this, not even when I have actually known that (mobile)internet drops every now and then. It just shows that spinning thingy in bottom right if connection varies.

I've been on a terrible connection, but I haven't seen this. I've only ever lost work (and then only one feature, max) if Onshape had an actual glitch.

It would pay to click on "Feedback" and share your model with Onshape Support, and submit a ticket explaining what you're seeing.

@aaron_2 Please send in a ticket so we can look at the logs. Send the feedback in from one of the documents you saw these disconnects.

I infrequently get dropped out of Onshape but am almost certain that my ISP is at fault since nothing else Internet-related works when this happens.

I sent a ticket. I was hoping to get a picture of it when it happens but it hasn't happened since I got my tablet ready to catch it.  I haven't had time to work on anything today yet.

I also only lost one feature which was not a big deal, but I was shocked that it even happened.
