2D Drawing- Dimension between two concentric circles.!!

Hi. I am trying to make a drawing of a simple hollow cylinder and would like to show the dimension of distance between two circles, but I can't seem to. The only way it lets me dimension is two circle's diameters individually, but this is not how I want to represent.

I found a workaround if you mean something like this:
First draw a horizontal line over circles (it doesn't snap), then drag endpoints to circles (now it does snap), then do the dimension, then delete line.
A bit of a hassle for small thing but seems to work.
Way too easy
